Yippee... weekend call, was happening. 3 nephrostomies! So I was called from 11am to 5pm.
Unfortunately the Trauma call (5-10pm) wasn't good. Well, the work was okay, but LO refused dinner. She went to bed hungry, woke up at 11pm to have dinner, played with mommy for a while, and slept around 12am.
My poor girl has to learn how to adapt, and have dinner with daddy, or Tok Mama or Tok Wan.
Studies:
Lectures have started last week. Starting off with anatomy of genitourinary system.
Physics, so far it's the fundamental physics and radiation. Hope quantum physics will be much later.
Started with abdominal radiography today.
Stephanie Ryan, Farr and Clark's... gonna trash my books tonight.
Should get a hold of past year questions too.
Work wise:
IVU was pretty relaxing. Moving toward CTU these days (in this centre that is).
Have participated in 2 conferences - though it was just tracing report, preparing images etc. The presenting bit will come much later.
Managed to be sent to Basic Interventional Radiology Course. Must find more courses.. being a new kid on the block.
Doing reporting B this 2 weeks. Yippee more work! (means more knowledge to be gained)
Oncall:
Gosh my 4th, 3rd and 2nd year were really nice. Only had 3 CT (that's a pretty quiet call).
Gonna have a weekend call this week. Wish me luck!!
