Rice with Green Olive
Ingredients:
- 4 oz cooked rice
- 3 oz mixed vegetables
- 2 oz minced beef
- 1 beef tomato
- 1 clove garlic
- 5 olives (pitted or stuffed)
- olive oil
Method:
- Heat oil and lightly fry the garlic
- Add the olive and tomato
- Once tomato is soft, add the minced beef and mixed vegetables
- Mix in the rice
Salmon Rice with Grilled Sole
Ingredients:
- sole fish fillet
- 3 oz rice - sooked
- 3 oz broccoli
- 2 oz salmon
- 1 momotaro tomato
Method:
- Grill or panfry the fish - ensuring fish is fully cooked
- Cook salmon with tomato
- Add in broccoli and cook till soft
- Mix in rice
- Serve warm with grilled fish
* uncooked fish is big no-no.. unlike mom who loves sashimi
* she hates the salmon rice. Mustn't get salmon from Village Grocer. Isetan has fresher/better smelling fish.
Tofu with Meat
Ingredients:
- 2 oz tofu
- 2 oz meat
- 2 oz broccoli
- 3 oz mixed vegetables
- 3 oz rice - cooked
- 1 clove of garlic
- olive oil
Method:
- Heat a little bit of oil and fry the garlic
- Add the meat, tofu, veggies
- Once all fully cooked, mix in the rice
~ of course had to be an easy meal, was late for work. Cooked at around 6.30 am, while eating breakfast
Tofu with Cod
Ingredients:
- 2 oz tofu
- 2.5 oz cod
- 2 oz broccoli
- 2 oz french beans
- 3 oz of rice - cooked
Method:
- Cook the cod and tofu with just enough water
- Steam the broccoli and french beans (or just cook it together with fish and tofu)
- When everything is cooked, vegies are tender, just mix with the rice
~ it's so easy to just mix everything together, rather than serving it separately
~ why? coz PIL already has to quickly feed her during lunchtime. LO is too busy to waste much time at the dining table - so many places to go, so many things to touch and feel! Different when parents are home though.
Kurau rice
Ingredients:
- 2 oz threat fin fish
- 4 oz mixed vegetables
- 5 oz rice - cooked
Method:
- Cook the fish with just enough water
- Add in mixed vegetables
- Once fish is cooked, crumble to small pieces
- Mix in the rice. I added more water to make gooey consistency (her desired consistency while teething this week)
* This fish is sweet, it makes the whole dish tastes yummy
* Obviously she finished it all, no pics
* No allergies to this fish, yay!!
Ingredients:
- 1 oz frozen peas
- 3 oz broccoli
- 3 oz cod
- 4 oz rice- coooked
- 1/2 shallot
Method:
- Cook cod with shallot along with broccoli and peas with just enough water to cover
- Once cod is cooked, mash into small pieces
- Mix in the rice
- You can cook longer if you prefer a dry dish (LO loves gooey, wet consistency)

~ was a hit!!! LO must've liked the fresh cod taste
I really should rename all my dishes:
Ingredients:
- 2 oz chicken- shredded
- 3 oz mixed vegetables
- 4 oz rice- cooked
Method:
- Simmer the chicken, keeping some of the liquid
- Shred the chicken (to manageable size for your LO)
- Cook the mixed vegetables together with the shredded chicken using the liquid
- Add in the cooked rice
~ Another simple weekday recipe
~LO loved this! She couldn't pick out the chicken :)
Salmon Pasta
Ingredients:
- 4 oz spiral pasta (her current fav)- cooked al dente
- 1.5 oz salmon
- 1 oz green bean
- quarter onion- sliced thinly
- olive oil
Method:
- Saute onion with olive oil
- Cook salmon till pink, add in green beans and cook till soft
- Toss in pasta
Tomato Rice
Ingredients:
- 3 oz rice
- 3 tbsp tomato sauce
- 0.5 oz cucumber- diced
- 0.5 oz broccoli- into very small florets
- 1 oz salmon
Method:
- Cook salmon, once pink- crumble into small pieces
- Add in broccoli, cooked till soft
- Add cucumber and tomato sauce
- Mix in the rice
